Let's Learn About Workplace Productivity or How to Make a Good Impression Your First Week on the Job!

In my new posh cubicle at my new posh job, I have my very own whiteboard. Since I have, up til now, only worked in theatre, it never occured to me this could be used for work. About my third day on the job, I took the longer route to my cubicle, past some of my coworkers. In the first cubicle was this:

Finally, I got to my desk:
this week i changed the picture to be a penguin. It says "I'm Tux" so that people will think it's a reference to Linux and let me stay.

Today's LLA Circus of the Stars writer, Kirsten Eidsmoe, has recently started her first big girl job as a writer for a software company in Atlanta, GA. She avoids free time by acting as Artistic Director for an Atlanta-based playwrighting association. She is spoiled by Chris the fabulous fiance, and taken advantage of by Oliver the cat who would make a much better dog.
