FLUFF RADIO REVIEW #8: Come Join Our Polka Party (on Mars)

As a Halloween gift to all of you, Show 8 is perhaps the most terrifying Fluff Radio show EVER, featuring aliens, polka-music, Brittany spearibs, and a massive amount of Bette Midler parody-age. Be afraid, be very afraid, and then go and buy us some funnel cake. Mmmm funnel cake.

Congrats goes to Matt from Florida who won last week's contest and guess what: you TOO can be myspace friends with FLUFF RADIO REVIEW! Add us and we promise Colleen won't be the musical guest again for a long LOOOOOONG time.

P.S. Sorry about the slight audio crappiness of this show, me and audacity had an armwrestling match, and despite the fact I've seen "OVER THE TOP" like 2,000 times, arm sock or no arm sock...I think I lost. If anyone knows a great audio editing program that works on both Mac and PC (free or even *gasp!* un-free) let us know ---Colleen

Musical Guest:

Colleen AF Venable performing "Come Join Our Polka Party" and "The Sci-Fi Convict Song" (aka "Death Row Baby" from the play THE WHOLE LOT AT BS which can be downloaded seperately HERE)

Tales of Wonder:
  • Dead Republicans and Manly Ghosts: A Halloween of Past Recap
  • Colleen and the Polka Grammy (no joke!)
  • The Big Lebowsi Fest
Impromptu Songs:
  • Wind Beneath my Rose
  • Polka Songs Aren't Always Happy
Most Memorable Lines Taken Out of Context:
  • "He looked at me with stone cold creamery headstone eyes."
  • "During the show I bust out in English but the rest of the time I speak entirely in old school grunty-talk."
  • "He looked like he was covered in creamated Steve Bushemi."
